Does anybody know of some public courts in palm springs/Indian wells area??? I'll be there for the first week of the tourney(great time to see practice sessions) with my hitting partner and father in law and we're looking for some courts.....We'll be staying near the embassy suites hotel....Thanks

Most all of the nice hotels have courts and the high schools and a few parks have public courts. If it were not the tourney week, you could play at the Tennis Gardens

I've been looking into this with the help of Google maps, it looks like there are some public courts next to The College of the Desert in Palm Desert. I count six courts there at Civic Center Park. In Palm Springs proper, there is Ruth Hardy Park, and it looks like there are 8 public courts there. Just googled Demuth Park, also in Palm Springs and it looks like there are four nice blue courts there.

Here's a helpful link:

thanks, i'll check out these places.....I actually stayed at the embassy suites last year and used the courts at night(anybody can use them at night, lights stay on until 10 or 11pm). During the day they have classes so thats a no go as we want to play a couple of hours in the morning and head out to the tourney when the gates open at 10am......Thanks again......:)

It's as easy as looking up your hotel on google maps and scanning the area for tennis courts. It's pretty easy to spot them.
