I used to string at Futures level and those guys dream of getting to Challenger ranking status...crazy tough lifestyle and lots of pressure. I still met some really nice people along the way. It makes it sweet when you see them get big wins at ATP/slams but I also wonder about the ones that didn’t make it.

One cool story was having done Jonas Luetjen’s racquets in 2016 and then watching the USO’18 fedr/Millman match and feeling like I recognized a face in Millman’s players box. Sure enough, Jonas had in two years transitioned to coaching instead of winning Futures tournaments!
