Sooooo, my phone got stolen the other day. Luckily I qualify for an upgrade so I won't have to pay out the nose for a new one. Anyways, one of the phones I was looking at was the Blackberry Pearl. I've heard nothing but good things about this phone from reviews on the internet. I was wondering what those of you here than have the phone have to say about it. Offer all your opinions!

PS: I have Verizon, so if any of you want to recommend a different phone, I'm certainly open to suggestions.

you have to pay 30 bucks a month additional just for email. I was going to get the pearl but when i heard about this i just got the Voyager instead. Loving the Voyager because it has a million awesome functions. and i think i saved money

If you plan to use it for email DON'T get it - that keyboard sucks.

i use the bb curve (similar to the pearl) and imo, unless you need everything the bb offers, save your money. to get the most out of it, you're gonna need to spend about $30 on top of a regular phone plan to be able to use the bb enterprise network. now if you have a job where constant communication via email or phone is vital, then by all means get a bb. otherwise, save your money and get a regular phone.
