I gotta say I actually feel the same. Mine is a bit overspec with 330g strung and 325 SW, which is ideal for me. I agree that it feels like it has a lot of weight at throat area and that makes it not very maneuverable compared to other rackets with the exact same spec. I just play with Speed MP today, customized to 330g with leather grip and about the same SW. Way more maneuverable.
Really. For me the B100 is not just a little more maneuverable. But honestly way more than the speed mp. Not even at the same ballpark. I could wrist my forehand with the blade all day every day and twice on Sunday With the speed not so . it takes more of a linear approach and gives you a little bit more of that prestige feel. More solid and hefty feeling on contact.

Blade 100 is probably meant to be played more at its stock weight and a low 320sw because I have zero issues with maneuvering it. This is why I stoped going with a preferred spec for every frame I get and just play in stock form or very lightly modded.
I 100% agree and feel the same way.

It was the mean reason to start this thread :) We look at buying new racuqets with a pre-determined spec list in mind. It works for some, but for most i dont think its the way to go.

Indeed, I think Blade 100 does not need to much weight @ 12.
I have version 8 and it comes with 299g, 277SW and 31.2cm (unstrung spec). Meaning enough headlight (which I like very much).
I have added 10g silicone in the handle (+ Pacific calfskin Leather) and 6g @ 12.
Strung with Kirschbaum Competition 1.25 @ 46, I ended up with 336g, 327SW and 31.5cm (which is my go to spec for last 4 years when I have been playing with Wilson BLX Pro Open 100).
But, since Blade has indeed too much mass in throat area, swing this stuff takes some extra efforts, despite of its headlight balance.
Now I think to reduce amount of lead under the bumper from 6g to 4g and I will see how it goes.
Otherwise, it is a great racket. Just my 2 cents.
