Building Muscle/ Getting Stronger

As of now, I am 107 pound, 15, and 5'5". I want to get stronger and build some muscle, so I was wondering what supplements are good for building muscle. I work out with weights 3 times a week, play tennis 3, take about 20 grams of protein, plus what I eat daily, and I eat healthy (fruits, veggies, lean meats, carbs, no sodas or candy). Some of my friends take creatin, and it seems to be working for them. Also, I do realize there are better ways to improve my fitness for tennis, but I just want to concentrate on bulking up.

well im somewhat like you...Im 5'9ish 125 lbs im pretty skinny. But right now I recently took Weighttraining in high school for one of my classes. And I think you should to if you arent already cause that alone will make you gain weight and stronger. Yeah but dont take creatine. I dont think that is good for you especially since your 15. Plus you probably havent even went through purberty so just wait. Also you can get a good estimate on how tall your going to be or big by comparing yourself to your dad and mom. Also you should join Wrestling. Its an awesome sport that will get you stronger and mentally tough.

Yeah weighttraining alone increases your bulk a lot very quickly if you never did any before. I was 5'9, 120-125lbs. throughout high school. Then dropped to 115 due to MMORPG addiction in the first few years of college. I like freaked after seeing 115 that day and like rarely played video games since. Normal eatting habbits + sleep and simple exercises like 20 push ups and 40 situps got my weight to 135lbs. I'm at 148lbs right now from doing random exercises in the gym. I have no idea what are the names of the machines in the gym that I use other than the bike and threadmill. I only hit the gym like 1-4 times a week for 10-20 minutes, so I'm no where near serious with my exercise and just that alone increased my weight a lot. So in short I was skinny cause of inactivity. Just a little activity made a huge difference. I didn't eat any supplements or anything special, just naturally ate a little more as I kept gaining weight and increasing the weights.

Twenty grams of total protein a day may not be enough for you if you are very active. Hard gainers need loads of FUEL. Meaning 6 meals a day, and days you are working really hard, particularly with the weights, maybe one 40-50 gram protein shake. You need to check out some of the hard gainer web sites, like this one:
http://www.ironmagazine.com/article200.html

There are many others, and many different ways to go. Read Charles Poliquin's stuff. He's da bomb!

Check your body type here:

If you are really serious about building muscle, the premier site on the web, IMHO, is: www.brinkzone.com

I'm under the impressions you mean 20 grm protien in supplement form only although your total daily protien intake is probably higher when food sources are included. For now, use a simple general rule of thumb of 1 gr protien (from ALL sources) for each pound of body wt. So, in your case, that would mean about 107 gr protien per day. LOTS more info on the subject matter...

Google "body building" and "sports nutrition"

Pal, I can't believe you said that. Will Brink is my hero. Charles Poliquin is also my hero. How come we have same heroes? ;) After reading Nick Evans book, I think you will pick him as your hero as well. :)

Btw, have you read Poliquin's book called the Poliquin Principles? Very good book, great source of advanced bodybuilding routines and techniques.
