Cable Gromment VS. Rubber Band

i voted for rubber band because that's what i use. and that's what i have a big bag of. i've never used a cable grommet, i don't know what it is. post a pic please.

I just bought a new packet of grommets today, TheShaun. $2.49 plus tax at Ace.

The online source that D-man found is much cheaper, though. If you decide to try them, make sure you get the 1/2" ones -- 1/4" doesn't work unless you have a very dense string pattern.

I use #64 rubberbands in some of my racquets and hole grommets in others. The RBs dry out faster, but both work very well.

In terms of vibe dampening, the RBs and cable grommets work just about the same for me. I decide which to use based on how much weight I want in that area when I'm fine-tuning the racquet's swing. (Yeah, I know... )

Of course, the grommets don't have nearly the 'tude that RBs do. They are just cool as heck and any opponent who sees one installed in your stick would do well to retire immediately!!
