Yeah, JW10S is so right. While it's helpful to get the input of others, the most important things is how the racquet feels to and plays for you. I was in search of a racquet and read racquet reviews like crazy. It was definitely constructive to hear what others said, but the best advice I got was "you just have to be prepared to demo." After two racquet and tennis shoe purchases that I regret - didn't demo, just read the specs, reviews and thought "oh, they sound great," I decided to take the more deliberate route and demo. The regrets are in my car trunk and never see the light of day.

I have demoed about four racquets and noted what I liked and disliked about each. I've found one that feels great to me - will be buying it this week. I did solicit thread comments on the experience of others for my particular style of play and current playability (tendency to have shoulder, wrist pain). That was very helpful. Nonetheless, there's nothing like taking a stick out for a test drive yourself.

Having said all of this, the racquet I finally settled on is the Head Microget Radical MP.:)

Good luck!

i dont own one, but i have extensively play tested it and used radicals in the past. i find the mg radical is a really soft, forgiving frame. i could easily generate the power i wanted and i was hitting a very consistent depth and pace of shot each time
