Calling all aggressive baseliners

I wanna know what type of stick do aggressive baseliners use. be it a babolat, prince, head, wilson or yonex. I would like your opinions. and is the Head Microgel Radical MP or the Prince O3 White better for an aggressive baseliner

Actually, you can be aggressive with any racket, as long as this frame suits you well enough to give you confidence and control. When you find one that does that for you, you'll be able to go all-out and be aggressive with your strokes.

i always found the 12oz+ racquets is more aggressive, as they hit heavier ball..
11oz+ is good for defence and all court play...

Yeah as long as you are confident with your shots u'll be ok with most raquets. But usually over 12 oz is your best bet, I like the prostaff and the fxp prestige definitely has lots of power that can be controlled, and my new donnay is really cool, but even tho i'm aggressive at the baseline i don't try and hit winners all the time.

yep dude i use my k95 and i am adapting to be an aggressive baseliner lately. swings fine for me and i can really whack all out with my backhand and still hit sharp angles. I would prefer more control on my forehands though... haha personal issues not to worry. Use something suitable for your style ... see if u want power or control and find a good balance

cheers dude

I'm a pretty aggressive baseliner, and I use a Wilson [K] Four 105. It's a little lighter than I would like (about 10oz), but it gets good pace and spin on my groundstrokes and serves. It's really maneuverable though, so I can use it easily at net.

I use the Flexpoint Prestige MP. If you're interested in the White, wait until January for the Speedport White and Speedport White Pro (18 X 19). They are much better in my opinion, especially at the net. The Pro plays a lot like the prestige, but a little lighter.

That's the same racket the I use. :) The [K] Four 105. I never have to generate much power and when I was growing up I used a H Cyclone 115 and that was way too big, so when I switched I got more control and could control the baseline better.

Yeah, it's a great racquet that I'm sure will last me through high school. How many lbs do you string it at? Mine was strung at 60, and that feels about right for how I play.

Previously, and still on occasion my Volkl C7's (like a prestige but actually 98 inches)

Currently switching between the k95 18x20

and newly acquired Yonex RD ti-70 long's which I have shortened to standard lengeth. At standard length I basically have an RDS 002 with an 18x20 and 8 to 10 HL balance.

I am working with lead to bring the HL balance down to 6 or 7.

Used to play with the Head i.prestige, now using the Wilson n6.1 95 18x20... Which I absolutely love.

i think so. mine is 12.2 oz, good dept control & power(due to more swing weight i guess). i prefer 16*18(19,20) for easily generating topspin to keep the ball in court.

after messing around with babolats for the past few years, i needed something flexier that didn't kill my arm and gave me more control.
i still wanted enough power to grind it out from the baseline. now i use the prokennex ki5.
100 in. headsize, 61 flex, nice blend of power and control
great baseline stick. demo it

I play that style of games and these are my few favorite.

Wilson Prostaff 6.0 95 --> still my very favorite if I need a reliable weapon.
Prince O3 Tour Mid 95
Vantage 90 or 95, 10HL, 12.6 oz strung
and will be Technifibre TFight 335 16x20 soon, when I get them.

i was at my best being aggressive from the baseline with the PSC6.1 95. I liked how I could rip the ball with tons of spin and power with this frame.
