Why moan about it? The organisers have their reasons, with Murray it's because he's box office ! I image the same in the US with Sock. Do you think the tournaments check in here to see if people approve of wild cards they offer ?

There needs to be a ban on " No More Wild Cards " threads. Essentially they are :
" I don't like player X " (for no real justifiable reason) and they should have " No More Wild Cards "

I think these wild cards basically just demonstrate the utter uselessness and absurdity of the Houston tournament, a random single clay event in the States right before MC. Even Big Ben Shelton, who never played a red clay match in his life, opted to start his clay season in Estoril (with a win!). If Sock and Nando got invites, it simply means that no one more deserving asked for one.
His clay struggles are very much the norm. I think he'll hit a few hot weeks later in the season and manage to remain in the top 100.
What's your issue with Cressy? You can't support the only guy on tour playing dedicated serve and volley?
