The point I'm trying to get across here is Federer has been in decline since 2010 onwards. Only (lol) made 8 slam finals with a paltry 4-4 win loss record compared to 15-6 in his peak years. What he has done in this decade for his age has been remarkable but I cant get the sense that he should've been 6-2 in the 2010's. Wimbledon 2014 and US Open 2015 were matches he could've won with better tactical play.

Federer should have at least another 6 slams to his name after AO2010 taking his tally to 25, imo.

2011AO, lost to Djokovic in the semi, but it was a tightly contested match where any of the 3 sets could have gone either way, just like their USO07 encounter.
Would have accounted for Murray in the final.
2011FO, lost to Nadal in the final, but could and maybe should have won each of the first 3 sets, just ran out of gas in the 4th.
2011USO, lost to Djokovic in the semi, but we all know what happened in that match. Had he won, i'd give him 60-40 to beat Nadal that year.
2014Wim, lost to Djokovic in the final, but after mounting that comeback in the 4th and having break point chances to serve for the match in the 5th i believe, he should have closed him out.
2015USO, lost to Djokovic in the final, but he was clearly the better player in the first 3 sets, just wasn't clutch enough to grab those break points.
2016Wim, lost to Raonic in the semi, pretty much handed him the match on a silver platter, complete capitulation ala FO2010 match against Soderling.

Even though Fed skipped the FO twice, there are Fedr's results in slams since Wimb 2015: F, F ,SF, SF, W, W.

And he was nearly 34 at the beginning of this streak.
