CS 150 vs 350 : DW vs crank

So getting a stringer and in my research I’ve looked at some used crank and DW. Given the opportunity to buy a tourna - I think I want to go with either the CS 150 or CS 350. (Price is very favorable for both ).

Eventually - I would want to add a wise 2086. I’m not really sure I’m in the market to drop $2000 on a constant pull electric and the ones in the UK (pros pro) cost about $250-300 to ship to the States.

The reviews on the 350 crank are favorable. Some say you lose tension maintenance vs a constant pull and DW. For the extra $500 - is the cs 350 crank that much better than the cs 150?

Open to your thoughts and suggestions.

FWIW, I would go with the 350.

I have never used a DW machine. When I was starting, it was just not an appealing option to me so I went straight to a crank machine and I have not regretted it.

The 350 is well-built and easily upgradeable and will serve you well for years. Once you add the WISE unit to it, you will have an excellent setup.

There is something to be said for purpose-built eCP machines, but unless you are stringing a lot or stringing commercially, you don't necessarily need to pony up the cash for one.
