Lol thats kinda funny... I hope som how we do win but i think its a long shot... Wawinkla has earned my respect with his match against nalbs but then again so has luczac...

I hope JA gives the kid a shot , I have stated before I like the way Luczak plays, gutsy tennis . 50/50 odds nearly worthy of a bet. GO the Aussies.

Thanks go_nadal your hitting the ball well atm keep it up cheers on the 50 post took awhile . I have just started watching Luczak play I hope the coverage keeps going , I would like to watch the Gooch play as well . This might be a late night. Go the Aussie's.

Reckon Luczak toss is odd but he catches it and apologises like Rafter - that's cool enuff.

Bear in mind that it's his first (ever!) Davis Cup tie, brilliant match in the end well done Luczak. He's just been interviewed and he said that this is a real high point. Great stuff indeed and he was very modest about winning and overcoming the dropped first set.

Yes Marius. Fitzgerald just said Guccione has been playing the best tennis of his life this week in practice.

Shaping up to be a great tie - partly because the main stars are NOT playing from both sides - it's time for the other players to get a crack at it. One of the fan(atic)s is holding up a sign that says "it's the Lucci and Gucci show".

Chris Guccione seems to try to end the point a little quick for clay, but being a bigger player (2 metres!) he'd not want long rallies. Cripes his serve is just as effective on the European fast clay as it is on grass. The Swiss clay actually seems faster than the Oz Open's rebound ace.

Thanks to all the posters with match results , I was only able to last until the fourth set with Luzcac , I'm glad he won. Did anyone check out the most expensive tennis shoes ever worn buy a pro player. I see that he went patriotic with the green coloured shoe laces. I think we have found our replacement for Mr Hewitt , very similiar game in alot of ways. Luzcac impresses me with the style of play he uses , he also scare the life out of me with that ball toss sometimes .

I missed the Gooch's match how did he play ?

Well done to Looch! He obviously picked up his game after the first set... i could only last until the 3rd set too late for me... i would hav liked to hav watched Wawlinka play again.... wat was the score in Wawlinka and Gooch?
What time is tennis on today and tomoro??

Won. Arthurs has a back problem. Unlikely to play tomorrow. Allegro played very well and dissolved into tears at the end.
Good crowd. Swiss had a Brass band, to which the Aussie response was a sign: "Your Band is Queer". Quite right.:)

Early news says Guccione will play Bastl in the fifth. Gooch still has decision-making/shot selection lapses but can play better, and serve better, than he did against Wawrinka.
BTW, the Swiss have been serving up a real 1h bh feast.:)
