I've noticed that some of the wilson balls are defective, right after breaking the seal. I shake them and sounds like there is something inside them. Seriously Wilson, I want tennis balls, not maracas. anyone else notice this problem? I've only had this happen with wilson balls. Do other balls have this problem too?

I've hit balls like that from a friend. Yes, it was Wilson.

does it affect the play of the ball or is it just an annoying sound? i can't imagine what ever's rattling has any weight to it.

I've found that issue with Wilson Championship balls as well as US Open balls.

Ive found this issue with Penn Championship balls as well as ATP Balls.

Actually way more though. If Im playing outside, rarely do I see Penn balls making it thru a whole match well.

And as far as quality control Ive had way worse experiences. (lopsided balls, uneven felt, etc.....)

Not to say Wilson is perfect either, any big company is going to have defects. Probally the more money the company brings in, the more defects they are going to have.
