Diadora B. Icon vs. Blueshield - What is similar to GR8?

I've been wearing GR8 since they came out, think I went through 4-5 pairs already. Right now size 10 is all out of stock on TW so looking for alternatives. Heard good things about the Diadora shoes. Curious what the feedback is on the B Icon and Speed Blueshield Torneo compared to the GR8. Is the B Icon more like the Court FF2 (mix of lightweight/cushion) and the Blueshield Torneo more like the GR8 (max cushion/durability). Any other brands/shoes that I should look at for a potential rival to the GR8?

Torneo is more like GR8. Maximum and better cushioned. Not as durable for me at least

Thanks Torneo has more cushioning than B icon? How's the durability compared to the GR8? I play about 10 hours a week and it takes me about 4-5 months to wear a hole in the outside of the GR8. Would the Torneo last about 3 months in my case?

I bought the B icon and only play 2 to 3 times a week. Durability is not good. I would not recommend them based on my experience. Within 2 months I had holes in the uppers and the sole was worn more than with any other shoe I've had in the last few years

More than the GR8 by a mile. Have never worn the B icon. They lasted me 2 months - playing more than you and I am very hard on my shoes. No longer have 6 month warranty

That's interesting it didn't feel like that to me when I owned/wore both. The FF2 is definitely marketed as more of an all around premium shoe with some speed built in vs. Gel Res 8.

Have you thought of the Babolat Propulse Rage? Or are those too heavy? Has warranty though and bootie construction, unlike the torneos.
