DIfference between wilson blx 6.1 tour 90 and Pro Staff 90

What is the difference between wilson blx six.one tour 90 and prostaff 90.

I am playing with blx 90 tour for the last three years... tried aero prodrive( rafa) head graphene pro( djok) wilson blx 95 and prostaff 95 for demos..

among all this i feel blx six.one tour 90 has the best balance and steady racket.

can any of you point the difference between wilson blx 6.1 tour 90 and Pro Staff 90.. since i want to try that.

surprisingly i started back tricep pain after using the head graphene pro.. never felt a pain on my shoulders when i played 10 days straight
graphene pro is lighter than blx 90

They are almost the same, probably except the amplifeel thing in the Pro Staff 90 handle. I feel the blx 90 gives muted feel (Pro Staff 90 feels livelier), and Pro Staff 90 is more head light balance than blx 90. I like both paint job.

The BLX has a more open string pattern so I get better spin.
I feel that the BLX is more muted and much more comfortable too but I wouldn't call either racquet very comfortable.

There are subtle differences between those two. You can feel that they are the same Family and plays very similar, but for a meticulous player there are some big diferences. The blx feel is too much dampened, almost like with a vibration dampner. This feel is less perceptible with a PS90. I do not think it is because "amplifeel", but, some difference in composite materials (quantity, arrengement of carbon layers, ......). Another thing is the swingweight, which is smaller in PS90. I have both models, and for my taste, I prefer the PS90. With less swingweight I can generate more topspin than the BLX.

i would have to somewhat disagree rpsbel. i played with the blx90 for some two years and at one point with both, and found the ps90 to be the "smoother" racquet; less vibration. it felt like the more polarized racquet, which gave it more plough from baseline. the blx allows to feel the ball and the court better, like a newer tires for your sports car, and is the more maneuverable racquet. the ps90 probably has the edge on serves, definitely on comfort for the arm.

I feel with the blx 6.1 tour you got more "pop" with your volleys and more plough from the baseline. The ps90 is almost too manueverable.

someone did say to me that the ps90 has the basalt running all the way through the handle of the racquet.

after playing with most of this line of racquets, starting with the ncode, the blx was my favorite... it could have been better on volleys; just add weight to the head.

The only difference is Ampifeel, which gives more of a direct feedback. Everything else is just typical Wilson QC.

huh?

OP is talking about the bloody q-tip looking one, not the "original" Pro Staff Tour 90 (black/yellow).
