I noticed a difference between my Puma Winners. All but one has the PCS-RACKET logo. The odd one out has PRO-LINE instead. Are there any Puma-freaks out there who are in the know as to why?

Hi Dino,

First of all congrats on your many interesting thread, above all the famous “Dino RDC” I appreciated a lot, as many others here [emoji4]

Talking about your question, as far as I know at the time Puma made both with Winner and Super a “Pro-Line” Edition, which came with in higher stock weight.
Then I’m not aware if there’s also a difference in materials percentage composition, but I do not think so.

Thank you! I'll have to add some specs to my infamous RDC-thread, as I've added tons of racquets to the collection...

Great info, thanks! I have to measure them and see.

Higher stock weight :-D so like 450grams

That's like two modern racquets. ;)

Great to know!
I’m very curious to see if there’s a difference in flex between the two and your other rackets measurements [emoji6]

I used my bb wc frames last year competitively in slovak 45+ champs. Possible to use them fine but not really in a clay grinding game. Need to be aggressive on every shot. Although the other 45+ guys loved them. I won 2 out of 3 singles matches so did ok with them.

That's brilliant, Michael! What was your string set-up? I can see your point on the frame not being ideal for grinding on clay, but in retrospect, what would you have preferred to play with?

Too bad they have gone, as many other great : Rossignol, Fischer, Adidas, Le Coq Sportif etc.

I couldn't agree more. As you may know I kind of like old racquets... [emoji848][emoji1787] One reason is that I feel there was more "personality" in the racquets before. Nowadays they all look more or less the same. That is actually true about the players, too...

Best clay weapons for my grinding game are POG OS or pure aero/apd. Especially in the age group tennis where old guys just can’t deal with topspin in the same way. POG requires more effort whereas aero are easier but just need to aim for bigger targets.

Had a dream last night about the hi fleck . And I never ever dream of tennis rackets mostly I dream that my teeth are crazy loose and I start pulling them out one by one until I get to my molars that turn into dust when biting down . It’s awful and wicked scary as hell every damn time I have this re-occurring dream

What a stick this one, don't ask me why but I LOVE it, especially this one. How do you think it plays, Dino?
It's on my list to play with, but I have played quite a lot with the Estusa Power Beam Braided. Once you get used to the head shape it's actually very playable. I like the precision when hitting groundstrokes, and serving/volleying is a delight. The Worldchampion should be softer, so I can imagine that I like it even more. [emoji4]

Does anyone know the RA on WC Becker frame ?
For me personally it’s the BEST aesthetic out of all of em’...
have no idea why it is my fave , it’s super boring red faded into blue ..
