Do pros use different grips in first and second serves?

Hi,

I'm 4.0-4.5 and I've been using continental grip for my first and second serves. My first serves typically have a little bit of side spin most of times although my intention is to hit them flat.

Recently I tried rotating my grip very very tiny bit to the right eastern side (I'm a righty). The grip still looks continental, but my feeling when I grap the raket is somewhat different than before. With this grip, it is much easier to serve flat with much more pop (as the sidespin went away). I like that feeling. But there are two problems -
1. control: the ball sails to more right spot that I intended to serve on.
2. 2nd serve: I feel much easier to produce kick serve with my previous grip.

Now, the question is, do pros or you guys switch their grips a little bit within the range of continental grip, between their first and second serves? If so, how do you manage the control problem?

I have not studied the pros serves, that closely. However, I would guess that, out of a thousand professional players, there might be a few that fiddle with their service grips between the first and second serve. I also would guess that they would not be anyone we have ever heard of.

Once you reach a certain level of play, to get the most effective use of your serve, you want to "disgusie" your actions as much as possible so you do not give away any clues to the receiver.

Most good servers serves start our looking almost exactly the same as far as stance, grip, positoning and the initial motions before the forward action of the swing.
