Does a Pure Drive Team + Lead Tape = Pure Drive ?

I bought a new 2015 Pure Drive Team (trying to save money). I didn't realize that the 10.7oz was the strung weight and not un-strung. It's too light for me. However, even though I haven't played with it, I unwrapped the handle and now can't return it (not a TW purchase). My options are to sell on **** and cut my losses or I was thinking I could just add tape.
I really like the 2015 Pure Drive and was wondering if I can just add .5-.8oz of lead tape and have this Team version hit as well as the standard Pure Drive?
Any thoughts?

I had the 2015 Team leaded up and didn't notice any difference to the 300 g PD. I added 5 g to the handle, 4 g to the throat area, 3 g at 10 to 11 o'clock and 3 g at 1 to 2 o'clock. This results in the right weight, balance, and swingweight (approximately). The weight in the throat area is important, if you put all the additional weight to the hoop and handle you can get the balance right but it will be too polarized resulting in a higher swingweight and different feel.

Interestingly there are 15 g between the different Babolats (lite 270, Team 285, standard 300, Tour 315 g) and the tolerance is always +/- 7 g. If the newly produced racquet weighs 293 g it receives the standard PJ, if it's 292 g it will get the Team PJ. They are all the same.
