Does stencil ink have any effect on your strings?

Not sure but I've been putting stencil ink on my babolat for the hell of it and the racquet strings don't feel as smooth as it was before. I don't know if it was because I've been hitting a lot lately or because of the stencil ink.

Also one quick question, is there a stencil ink that actually stays on the string for a long duration? Because I put some stencil ink everytime I play and by the time I'm done playing the ink is just all gone and faded.

Ink shouldn't do anything.

I don't think there is actually an ink that stays on long, it just depends on what string you use. ink doesn't stay well on polys.

If it has no effect on the playability of the strings, then dont worry about it.
I put ink on poly, and although i keeps coming off, i still put it on.
No effect whatsoever.

personally, I feel that the ink gives the string move texture, which gives it slightly more spin ;]. Other than that, no affect on the strings, really.

I don't think so. IF you're having problems with ink coming off because you're using polys, there is a ink for polys available on **************.

Unless you're getting paid to advertise the brand, stencil ink will make your strings feel like poseurs. (jk)

I would recommend you not to advertise competition websites ... I think it is against the rules.

To the OP, it does have an effect, it stains them ;)
