DBS is just epic full stop man. Gohan is back better than ever, I reckon he'll show something big in the tournament. Hopefully he becomes a main guy like Goku and Vegeta.

So, it looks like Krillin and 18 will pull out too. That's too bad, because 18 hasn't had a serious fight since she basically tortured Vegeta back in the Android Saga. I like that there's such a sudden plot twist, though.
So, if the "let's just resurrect Freeza" plan rumored is true, we can assume Cell will get the same treatment, but who will the third member be? I'd think about Ginyu, who gave trouble to the Fighters and who knows teamwork (in his own way), being a five-men Force Leader. And since the Tournament will only last 48 minutes, I assume they'll be resurrected through Baba (I don't remember if her powers have limitations such as "only one person at time", but it doesn't matter because that kind of rull will somehow be bent anyway). Problem is Cell doesn't have one month of time to train, but I think they'll find a way to play around it.
At first I had the same bad opinion about Freeza being brought back once again as you guys, but in the end Fukkatsu no F was pretty poor as a return, so it wouldn't be too bad to have a better display of what he's really capable of. Besides, Frost's presence is pretty much confirmedjust like Buu's was, so we can have an interesting clash. Speaking of Frost, why didn't he revert to his First Form while at large?
Provided I didn't watch MichealNadal's video to avoid Spoilers and as such I don't know how reliable it is, what else would you think they can do if the theory is proved fake instead? The idea of new Characters coming from other Planets seems far-fetched because of what someone (Kaioshin? Whis? I can't remember) said before they started the recruitment, but maybe Neo Nameck? Otherwise, Yamcha will perhaps have his moment of glory?

I don't know if you already watched it, but
From the preview I think he has something in his mind to make him not want to try anything funny. Besides, it looks like Freeza will ask for something in return, and I can't wait to find out what that may be, considering his actual situation.
By the way I must say he looks weird -yet cool- with the halo, especially in Golden Form. Except I still find his purple face in said Form a punch in the eye.

I'm very excited about the return of Frieza. I'm going to enjoy his trash talks, and how the rest of the cast interact with him. Since about half of them can more or less "check" him if need be.

I saw some speculation that as he'll be dead he'll have more stam in golden form like Goku did with SSJ3. That would be some nice continuity. Hopefully we see some of his old techniques as well.

Weird as I am, Freeza is among my favourite characters, so I'm really looking forward to see him in action again.
It was also just awesome how Beerus complained for Goku eliminating his family and then got shocked when the latter proposed to bring him back.

Super Saiyan 3 costed Goku some time alive (provided Freeza will be resurrected with the same method), but then again the Tournament will last less than a hour, so I think he may stay transformed for its whole duration as well. How much did the clash in Fukkatsu no F last in Dragon Ball Time?

There's potentially a guy in there stronger than Beerus, the only other option is like Yamcha or Jaco. Plus Freeza is the GOAT.
I don't mind the build up so much, there's a few episodes which I think could have been cut like the one with Tien for example but as long as the tournament runs for like twice the length it's ok to me.

You guys got me wrong: I was talking about bargain alternatives, no fighter alternatives. To resurrect Freeza through Baba is actually a very good idea, as they have enough old mates to do Teamwork with and as he's supposed to replace no less than Majin Buu. But while to promise to resurrect him permanently could have been his last resort anyway, he was in the position to at least attempt something else, like promising a fight to death where no one would have interfered, thus giving Freeza yet another chance to get revenge (Tournament lasts less than a hour, Freeza has 24 to live). Of course it would probably have ended up with Freeza refusing and forcing him to use the Dragon Balls anyway, but it was worth a try in my opinion, especially considering that Freeza already showed to be willing to partecipate to have a day off from Hell if anything.
That said, Freeza doesn't know Shenron can't grant the same wish twice, does he? Because from what I understood he accepted to be resurrected through Earth's Dragon Balls rather than the Super Dragon Balls.

Cauliflia's transformation was sweet, but Kale is a Legendary Super Saiyan. That changes everything. Nice to see LSSJ is now Canon, she is basically a female Broly, and her base power is going to be crazy high. LSSJ have followed a different evolution from the standard SSJ that everyone else has, they are able to put on serious muscle without any loss in speed, and are much more full contact in their fighting...clotheslines, bear hugs, head butts. And they are completely ruthless, known by many as the true super saiyans, killing machines. This will be fun.
As for Frieza entering...I would love to see him meet his counterpart on Hit's team, that should be very interesting! Potential is through the roof atm, this could be insanely good if done right.

Yeah. This is where we don't know how being in different universes effects the ability to move up from one stage to another. It was very quick, I agree, but these are Sayians in a different universe.

Well, Kale just went LSSJ. Insane power just like that. They are obviously very different from the Sayians that exist in our universe if they can pull of such power levels so quickly imo.
It does make good TV though and the battle royale will be crazy good.

Legendary SSJ makes sense, since you're born with it and it's just one level.
Normal SSJ should be an acquired/unlocked transformation, and likewise with SSJ2 and it should be at least twice as hard to achieve.
My problem is that, because they made Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the cast so god damn strong now (Piccolo can trash a SSJ2 and probably give SSJ3 and Mystic forms a run if he wasn't in a teaching mood. Don't get me started with Android #17), they're just dishing out transformations left and right to the newcomers so they can match up with the original cast.

The U6 Saiyans are just really strong base Saiyans who never learnt to go SSJ. They probably have really high power levels already which helps.

That's fine, strong base and all, I'm even ok with the legendary stuff popping out of nowhere.
But SSJ2 within hours of learning how to go into SSJ1? I'm calling B.S. on that.
I'll even call Cauliflia a prodigy. Then, where's my Goten and Kid Trunks SSJ2 transformation? (Oh that's right, they don't fight anymore story-wise).
