had chances to test this product out. I have very sweaty hands and do not like the tournagrip which is like a cloth. so I use Wilson overgrip, or yonex supergrap. These are fine in dry winter time, but in Humid summer, my hand sweat and it becomes slippery. which means loss of spin and more mishits.

But I got to try this out today. I apply it to my hands and rub it in before the match and my hand stays DRY. I reapplied about every 4 games and works GREAT. My hand stays DRY in 90 degree HOT humid weather and therefore I had very good sure grip. Which means MORE spin and better racket control and less twisting of racket.

This Stuff really works, guys.

I play with bare leather and have been using the Tourna Tac Rag.

Interested as to how the items listed above work compared to or in conjunction with. When the Tac Rag is fairly new, I just reach in and palm the rag in my hand. As it wears and becomes less tacky with age, I wipe the grip with it. Use it on every other change over for the most part

I know. I used that product too. but it does NOT work as well and is messy.
Lotion above disappears into your hands. you just rub it in. and your hand stay dry for 2-3 games at least. and your palm stay tacky against your grips like Wilson overgrip or Yonex supergrap.

I find Dry Grip to be far superior to the Prince product (which is much more like a rosin suspended in a gel). But Prince is in second place, distant though it is.

this dry grip is safe on the hand. right ? it doesn't cause cancer or anything like that ?? lol

I've tried the Prince product and I also tried rosin bags. The Prince product definitely beats the rosin bag by a mile. I think I'll try this dry lotion next time I order from TW. It sounds interesting.

I have been using Industrial Strength Dry Grip for years -- equatorial climate tried and tested. I have yet to find anything that comes close when you need an extreme assist with sweat.

The same product you referenced. Note "Industrial Formula" on the label. These products are used in lots tougher and more slippery situations than on the tennis court.

Good to hear your take. I know when the tac rag is working properly I use it less and less. My current rag is on it's way out and use it on change overs. Will consider the lotion on next purchase. I don't like playing with OG so staying dry isn't an issue more than having the tackiness .

I have not but will keep that in mind...

Now let's talk Alfa's :)

Had a 1975 Spider. Now my brother has it. Sitting really nice on some Panasport wheels :). Both my parents had GTVs. I would love to get another one but don't have the garage/time/space at this time.

Tried out the lotion and yes it kept my hands dry...but there was no tac on my leather grip. Not a fan. Tac Rag isn't as messy as one would think. Will continue to use the Tourna product.

Yes, I had lots of love but also was little bit nauseated due to strong incense smell. Not sure why Prince decided to go with this particular smell. Bottle say fragrance was added. they could have picked flowery smell or No smell would have been preferable. but stuff does work really well in keeping hand dry.

Does the Tourna dry grip lotion work just as well as the Prince one ?

TheTourna Grip Rx Tennis Grip Enhanceris a quick, effective solution to keep your sweaty hands dry. This non-toxic, safe to use product dries to a light power. A patented formula works to immediately enhance your grip.

The Tourna-Grip lotion is basically the same as the Prince (i.e., a liquid talc/rosin/chalk versus a true antiperspirant) but it does smell a bit better. However, I found the Tourna product tended to solidify in the bottle pretty quickly so I only got to really use about half of the bottle before the remainder was useless. I think there are other similar liquid talc products (e.g., Shock Grip, Dry Hands) but I haven't tried those.

And here I am putting hand lotion on my Tournagrips because they are too dry!
if that is the case, then use the soft synthetic grip, it gives you just as good of grip and it is much easier on the hands than that dry cloth stuff
