I just bought one. In terms of similar frames, I'd demoed the babalot pure drive cortex, pure drive gt, pure drive Roddick, the Becker pro and the volkl powerbridge 8. I found the 4D 500 tour provided the most feedback and was by far the best match for my game. Everyone on the forum seems to love dunlop quality. The babalots feel like clubs, comparatively.... Again, to me :)

I recommend that you check the swingweight cause the 500t is although lighter its considerably less headlight resulting in similar sw to the rds001 mp

I have the 500 Tour (Non 4D). Not sure there is a huge difference, but I can certainly comment on the quality.

It is built beautifully! Graphics quality is first class and mods are easy and effective.

Highly recommended!

i just checked and the dunlop has a higher swing weight, does this means that the frame actually will feel heavier when using it?

i see that the rds001 is 315g unstrung and the ag500t is 300g unstrung, is this difference insignificant?

I have the dunlop 500 Tour non 4d, and must say that it is the best racquet i have ever hit. The POWER is truly unbeliveable. This racquet is NOT for people who generate topspin though. The racquet is a flat hitters dream racquet.. The control is above average and the racquet is one of the best serving racquets of all time. I already bought 2 and am thinking about buying another one. Theyre 79.99 on tennis warehouse. Its quite the frame.

Hi there,

I used to play with Head iPrestige & LM Prestige. I switched to this beauty because I need more maneuverability at net and mid court volley rallies when playing double. Perhaps it is lighter than my previous racquets but I found it is very stable in return hard hitters. Just do your full swing and be confident that the ball will land deeply enough to destroy your opponents on groundstrokes. Big serve is easy with lot of spin. I am loving it but the tension of first stringing was a little lower than I expected (60 lbs, SPPP 17L). I will add 1 lb in main and switch the cross to X-One 63lbs.
