I redemoed the AG500T and also demoed the classic version, PD+, and the BLX Pro open.
I was surprised that this time, the AG500T had a hybrid alu power + synthetic gut. It felt a tad stiff but was still my favorite stick. I also like the sound it makes when I hit the sweetspot. It's definitely better than the lighter version, but I kinda liked the string that was on this last one. It was some Dunlop string but I just didnt like that it moved so much. Maybe hybriding it with a poly could help?
PD+ had great spin, obviously not a bad stick but doesn't have as much touch and control. It might have been my choice if I didn't hit with the AG500T.
Finally, the Pro Open was a decent stick. Really average. I thought it almost felt like my KB98 but not as crisp.
Conclusion, I'm probably gonna get the AG500T and string it with Tornado (1.18mm) + Goosen Sheep or prince synthetic.
I know the tornado might be a bit to0 thin and might brake easily but I still have a whole reel Or should I do full poly?
