Element Rough as a cross?

Has anyone here used Element Rough in a poly hybrid setup?

My current setup is Tier One Tour Status 1.25 @47/45 in my Gravity Pros and I'm looking for something that will soften the bed just a touch but not too much. I've previously tried Ghost Wire and Microfiber X but those were too soft.

Yes, I did a hybrid with ALU Power and with NRG2 before. I was afraid esp. with NRG2 that the "Rough" would saw into the softer multi. But Element Rough is kind of more "sticky" than rough (not that it sticks to your strings or doesn't snapback or anything like that). Edit: I should note this was in an 18x20 98 though

It worked out great. I like using Element and Element Rough as a soft poly. I've never tried the strings you mentioned though so can't comment about softness in comparison. The tension does drop off quite fast at the beginning though before stabilizing, so string accordingly.

I just switched from Elements to Element Rough (in the mains)

Just curious: are you saying that Element Rough loses tension faster than Element? Or just all Elements tend to lose tension more than other strings? Thanks

I think Poly Tour Rev would be a good cross.
It's pretty comfortable and has a slick coating that I think would help string movement
I actually did not like it in a full bed for this reason as it felt like it didn't "bite" into the ball.
Plus I like that lavender color

Sorry, to clarify - I meant they, like a lot of soft polys, tend to lose tension faster than your average stiff poly. Disclaimer: I have tried Element Rough both in a full bed and hybrid. I have only tried Element in a hybrid. But tension maintenance and softness-wise, they seemed pretty similar from what I could tell.
