They aren't archiving hardly any matches and they are being played live on espn 1 or 2. Three mens matches in the past week.

I watched a djok/berych yesterday and the main channel coverage is unbearable, they even went to a womens match that was 5-0 while djok was 3-2 in the 2nd.

They barely covered the clay season and now this, anyone know whats going on?

They even went to a women's match! Oh no! Did you watch Birdman fold like a cheap suit in the tiebreaker? 2 doubles and 2 unreturned serves on 2nd serves from Novak. 3 setpoints wasted. You didn't miss match in that one.

Regarding clay, ESPN decided that the interest level for them to cover clay court tournaments was not high enough, so they don't want to spend the money. This is an issue because ESPN is losing money after vomiting money for TV rights to NFL and the main American sports. I think it's NBC/Tennis Channel that owns the rights to the French as well. ESPN used to lease rights so they could show some matches, but decided not to this year.

They are 0-1 so far in the hard court season. I dont like espn1 and 2 because they change the match im watching, they are always putting on something that i do not want to see. That was the nice thing about epsn3, you choose your match and rarely had commentators (they ruin the match)

They broke away in the 2nd set not the first set tiebreaker. The match was lost at 3-2 in then 2nd, didnt get to see it.

What happened? Djoker happened. Fed got old, Nadal's injuries racked up and now Djoker is stealing purses from old women and candy from babies. Not exactly a ratings bonanza in 2016.

After watching the first game against monfils i can understand that. The excessive ball bouncing makes me cringe, if he wasnt playing monfils i wouldnt be watching. I just hope i can watch archived tennis in the future on espn3. The only have 3 mens matches and two are wawa.

Subscribe to Sling TV.Its only 20$ a month.Espn and ESPN2 included in the lineup

I can watch espn 1 and 2 on espn3. Espn 3 gave you all the courts and you could watch all the matches in the past 30 days. Now there is nothing

ESPN 3 WAS covering everything but online stream took away viewers from their cable channels,so they still covering matches which are not broadcasted on cable channels.Like previous poster stated espn is bringing down Disney stock and cable channels are still their main source of revenue. They sell way more advertising for cable channels than for stream

Man, when is the US gonna wake up and realize how exciting tennis is and can be? Maybe if they put some lower angles on their broadcasts people would start watching, since they'd get to see the speed of the ball and the speed at which the players actually move. It would actually be exciting. These constant high angles shots at big tournaments makes it so boring.

I actually like watching smaller tourneys simply because of the low camera.

I've been waiting and waiting for them major tournaments to get better camera angles. court level is the best.

wide, high angle shots are like watching a suspenseful horror or action movie without any closeups or medium shots -- just wide angle shots.
