Federer/Nadal, Once and forall the bashers!

Myself being an fan/admirerer of Federer, I was dissapointed in Feds performance. I was hoping for a 5 set epic match. It didn't happen as we all know. However, I don't believe he is washed up, a has been, poorly coached, unfit or going down hill. I do think he was beaten by a young energitic, talented, firey Spaniard that believes he can beat anyone, anywhere anytime. I think his attitude alone will take him far. From the look in his face it shows he has no fear. NO fear is huge.

For all the bashing that goes on on these boards, those who do bash Fed or Nadal should post their own competitive records in tennis and see where they were at 19 years of age. I would venture to guess there are few, zero (0) here on the boards that can match either players record.

I appreciate how Nadal will call a ball in when he sees it in. That takes class. Too bad we don't see more of this. If we did, we might not need to argue over shot spot.

I appreciate Feds grace win or lose. I wonder how many bashers here could take home a Grand Slam trophy without making a complete *ss of themselves gloating about it. Mmm? Yeah a zero (0) again.

I have seen Fed and Nadal play twice. Fed won in Miami. It was a shaky win, but a win none the less. In that match Fed looked out of sorts. He missed (framed) ground strokes and struggled with his serve some. Same thing happend at Roland Garros but in this case Nadal won. He won convincingly. No doubt Nadal was the better player on that day. AND, if Fed can't bring the goods to the table in future meetings with Nadal, he will again go home empty handed.

I don't know if Fed was flat or how much Nada has to do with it. I know when I play someone in any sport that is ready and willing to chew nails and eat glass it can be a little un-nerving to say the least. If you don't adjust quickly the next thing you know your eye is dotted and its all over but the crying.

No need to slander Federer, he is good for the game and exhibits class win or lose. Nadal the same. I am glad he won. He deserved the win and I hope he goes all the way.

But, until I have something on my tennis resume that resembles world class knowledge, skill or experience I will refraim from worthless bashing of some of the worlds best players so that I can levitate somewhere above the sarcastic, mouthy, uneducated opinions of the bashers here.
