Federer playing doubles with Sampras

One thing that got missed in the whole Agassi-Pete brouhaha was the doubles between Fed and Pete.

They are the all time two best players and have huge respect for each other.

So how did their play went. Some excellent serves and volleys. how did you find the co-ordination

It should have been Sampras-Nadal vs Federer-Agassi to even it out. Having Roger and Pete on the same side of the court just isn't right. Despite the unfair advantage they only won 8-6. But there was a lot of goofing around so it's hard to comment on how well they played together.

I think Pete/Rog played well enuf...some neat volleys...Rog started things in style with that first long exchange...but it never lived upto that start.
Andre brought the heat (amazed to see his power.. almost felt like he was hitting better than when he was on tour) and they were not ready for it!

yeah Andre really hit the crap out of the ball, he looks much better than Pete these days! would be nice watching them play a singles match:)
but Pete and Roger really had trouble handling Andres power on their volleys..

If Agassi learns how to volley he could be lethal in doubles!

Agassi was trying to have fun serving trying to call the speed of his serves. When he did, he was off by one mph.

Also, he hit a 104 mph forehand return of serve off of Federer. Federer responded saying that he' not used to pace as it's all spins these days.
