Because too much mint. Mint color can go with any color but top to bottom is too much. If he wears white shorts with white socks. It might be better looking.

It could be that Nike and Uniqlo don't work that closely to bring Fed's outfits to match his shoes, or Federer has settled for whatever colours Nike are prepared to give him, which would mean no regular changes. It could also mean that also his shoe contract is about to end, but I doubt it.

What is certain is that this year Nike didn't update his shoes like previous years.

Seriously, anyone prefer this shoe tonite?

The colours don't match exactly which imo doesn't work. It would look as though they tried to match them, but failed.

Unsurprisingly that colour is a perfect match for Nike's own apparel line posted also in this thread.

I sure do. I was recovering from a car accident in Ireland at the time these were released. I even called TW to find out the time they would go live but the employee I spoke to accidentally gave me the wrong time so I missed out

Wish the shorts were navy. But than again with Uniqlo fed likely gets whatever colors he wants. So to have this as a color or a call back to past kits of his isn’t surprising. What is a bit shocking is that he hasn’t signed a footwear deal yet it seems unless I’ve missed it. And to that end couldnwe get better matching shoes.

Sadly this look included some black shorts or a black shirt and you’d get a similar effect. I know this is terrible and I am extremely biased. But I do follow the same concept in my own on court outfits. Also why I despise matching my partner (mostly a request I get in MXD).

I like the lighter mint color instead of slightly darker colored mint.
Similar to pink Henley from Shanghai tournament. The pink is light and slightly whiter feel to it.

He's been doing that a lot since switching to Uniqlo. Starts the tournament in a monochrome look and then switches a round or two later.

With Uniqlo's price points, I'd fan boy buy everything if it were more readily available in PE spec. Contrast with Nike stuff that I liked, I forced myself to clearance hunting.

I predict Nothing for tennis but you will be able to find retail version (without logos) of stretch sweat jacket, pants and practice shirts (active poly shirts).
Possibly small pic of Fed AO outfit ad somewhere in the store but you might not see any actual tennis items.

@gino was talking about his mint green interview jacket, not his playing shirt. Actually I didn't even know it was mint green until later on in the match, I thought it was the same white shirt but discolored in the washing machine. The mint green was too subtle and close to white, color should have been deeper a bit.
