Forehand Non-Hitting Arm

I have to manually clear my non-hitting arm or else it will be in the way. It should be able to automatically clear. My non-hitting hand also falls as I pull my non-hitting arm across. I’ve tried catching the racquet, but it doesn’t solve anything.

How do I fix my non-hitting arm so that it automatically clears and my non-hitting hand rises?

Are you rotating / uncoiling your body, especially your upper torso when you swing?

Both hands on the racket for your unit turn? Is it a full UT? Do you extend your non-hitting arm out to the side (parallel to the BL) before starting your forward swing? Start your uncoil a little bit before your forward swing. Continue the uncoil as you start the forward swing. What happens to your non-dom arm if you do this?

Catching the racquet solves a lot. The non hitting arm should start to pull back as the racquet flip is “about” to happen. The hitting shoulder drives forward creating the lag. Why catching the racquet is important is because when you move the hand to catch it the elbow has to pull back behind you. The elbow going back pulls the shoulder. The
only way the hitting shoulder can get out in front of the non-hitting one is if the n-h one keeps out of the way. And catching the racquet takes care of that.
