Gamma Rzr 105 = Prince EXO3 105?

it's amazing how these 2 racquets have nearly identical specs.
the ONLY difference is the Rzr's beam is 26mm versus 25.

Could the Rzr 105 have been made from the Red 105's mold?

Aside from any wild theories such as using the same mold, perhaps Gamma saw the need to have an extended 104-107" frame, a niche that's filled with most major manufacturers.

I'm sure its not the same mold, especially since the Prince has the Ports. But its almost as if Gamma copied the specs of the Red almost exactly.

I've been using the Blade 104 the past 2 months. I recently have been testing the Rzr 105, but the 104 still reigns supreme.

Regarding Jack's post of over 2 years ago:

Kind of a funny coincidence. I did a weeklong demo a month ago (in August) of both those racquets:
the Wilson Blade 104 and the Gamma RZR 105.
The Blade 104 was excellent, but I wanted a little more pop.
The Gamma RZR 105 was perfect, good for every kind of shot, although a little light.
No arm problems during the week long demo, even though I have a history of tennis elbow.

I bought two of the Gamma RZR 105 and added 1/4 ounce lead tape to each one.
I started having elbow problems with the 2 Gamma racquets a few days
after I bought it. I still have elbow problems with it, although I didn't have arm problems when I did the demo.
I use soft multi strings, both during the demo, and with the ones I bought.
One has soft multi, the other monofilament but soft and similar to multi.
I will probably have to stop using the Gamma 105, due to elbow pain, although I like the racquet a lot.
I guess you can't always tell about elbow pain when doing a demo, even after a week of hitting.

Regarding the opening post:
What's also funny is I had been thinking of doing a demo of the Prince Red 105 inch racquet.
It has a high stiffness rating of 70, but hope it's not too stiff. There aren't too many
105 inch racquets to choose from. Would be great if the Prince Red 105 played like
the Gamma RZR 105, but without the elbow problems.
I did notice that TW rates the Prince Red 105 as being "low-medium" for power.
The Gamma 105 was rated "medium" for power. The Gamma had the right amount
of power for me. Not sure if the Prince would.

You should really check out the Volkl Organix 4 or Super G 4. It's also 105" and has the same power level as
the Gamma 105. It's actually very similar in specs and great on your arm. If it were me, it would be a no brainer to switch to this racquet. You get everything you had with the Razr 105 but with added comfort and a nicer feel off the stringbed. Super solid for it's weight, but you can add weight if you like, but I play it stock. the Gamma 105. It's actually very similar in specs and great on your arm. If it were me, it would be a no brainer to switch to this racquet. "medium-high" power, which may be too much for me, as I prefer "medium" power. They did have the 104 inch Organix 7, but that has a stiffness rating of 74 (ouch!).

The Super G4 has a strung weight of 10.1, which is very light. TW lists the power level of the G4 as being "medium-high". That's pretty high, as I prefer a power level of "medium".

I wouldn't worry too much about TW's verbal "power descriptions". They are pretty loose descriptions. The power maps on each racquets are a more useful tool IMO.
Also their strung weights don't include overgrip and dampener, so you can add about 12 grams for that. I would suggest you try one out before you dismiss it so quickly based on paper specs alone. If you have trouble finding a Organix 4, send me an email and I'll hook you up.

TW says the Volkl 7 greenie might be 74, but plays muted.
I string my 03Red0S at 40 lbs., and it feels tighter and firmer than my other rackets of 100 and 97 at 35 lbs. Shouldn't be any arm problems at such tension.
As I"m heading upwards in SW and overall weight, I'll be adding 1/2" wide lead tape soon, once that racket goes thru the rotation.
