Gary Collins - The Simple Life

Have any of you heard of Gary Collins or listened to his podcasts, interviews or read his books. He was formerly a US Government military agent who became a podcast show host and built a house off the grid somewhere in the mountains off California. He was a fitness and diet guru but also a motivational speaker for self- sufficiency and independent well being and helping people to get their lives in order and their act together in a practical no nonsense manner.
Unfortunately at a pretty young age he passed away but nothing has been said about this. Has anyone here ever followed Gary Collins or read his books or who knows what happened ?

Sounds familiar. I believe this refers to Gary Collins, the actor who was married to Mary Ann Mobley. He was in his mid 70s at the time of his death. Different guy. The Gary Collins, that Croc is referring to, died at a much younger age.

Also it appears he had some drinking issues.

Different guy - this guy died around August 2022 - he did a podcast about a week before and then went and visited his family in California snd then passed away. Interesting podcast and books.
