Heh, no. Somewhere along the line, he'll have a bad day, or meet up with someone zoned. I say he gets two.

I think that the toughest one for him to win will be the US Open...guys like Roddick Hewitt Agassi Nalbandian can give him trouble there with that quick surface.

no way man..if there was ever a time, itd be now, but thats a lot to ask..i tell you though, if he wins the french this year, i think hes odds on favorite to do it and tennis might get some press :>

I agree with James Brown. I would love to see him do it becasue it would definitely give tennis a huge boost, and I Love Federer. But I think it is a tough assignment given the men's field is so deep. Would kinda also like to see Agassi win one more Slam.

I think that the depth of mens clay court tennis will be too strong for him.

Every round at the French is a challenge for even the greatest clay courter.

I also say 2.

I think the toughest will be Roland Garros. Every match a grind. If he wins the French he is the favorite going in to Wimbledon, then if he can hancle the pressure he can win the US Open. If he does is he GOAT? Not a chance. Didn't Laver win 2 grand slams years apart? May be showing my age, but Federer or anyone else needs a little more than one GS before getting the GOAT mantle.

I think his game is exactly suited to that surface. Clay is his worst surface.

But should Laver's first slam really count? Because it was strictly for amateurs, I remember some story about him getting schooled by the average touring pro during that time period.

Clay might be Roger's worst surface, but it's also the worst surface for the people who, I feel, can give Fed trouble. When you balance it out, I think that his chances are slimest at the US Open- but hey, who knows? I vote no for the poll, though.

Funny stuff. I'd say clay is his worst surface yet he played Coria like a puppet. Wimbledon is his tournament to win. The US Open, he simply OWNS Roddick and now has beaten Hewitt and Nalbanian pretty easy the last two times he's played those guys. So if not this year he's young and is GETTING BETTER while the rest of the field, for the moment, has plateaued.

Is he playing the Olympics? He might do a Steffi and chalk up a Golden Gram Slam! Just kidding...

There's always a chance to win the French; not exactly his weakest surface but rather, the contenders are tougher on it. He did beat Moya and Coria, though admittedly, both were looking a bit tired. And Ferrero is still trying to recapture his form after the pox.

Wimby and USOpen are up his alley, but there's always Safin, AA, Bandy and Henman to trip him up. So who knows? There's always a chance and I hope he achieves it, but the field is deep. We'll get to watch it all unfold... :D

Can he do it? Yes. Will he do it? That's a whole different story. The French is tough for anyone to win because the clay court field is so deep. I still think he can do it though because he's got some momentum coming in and a lot of his toughest competition isn't on top of their game or is going to be at home watching it on tv. In my opinion, the US is going to be the toughest. I think he's the best player in the world, but the US open is the tournament where you see a lot of players hit the zone. I could see someone like Haas or Safin catching fire there and tearing through the draw. It's hard for me to say that he's not going to win one individual grand slam, but to say he'll win them all, that's even harder.

It's unlikely to be done even in the best of times. The ATP, while now finally taking back attention from the WTA, still seems to have a serious depth problem. Once the depth decreases, things like this are more likely to happen and the men's game will be more interesting again.
