and I don't mean by your wife or girlfriend.
I was playing the other day in cold weather (50 degrees) and I made a stretch and pulled a groin muscle. I stopped playing immediately since I was unable to move laterally.
Nothing popped but I cannot lift my leg up enough to put my right pants leg on...
I can only lift my foot off the ground by about 5 inches without feeling that weakness in the groin area. You don't realize it but the groin muscle (the adductor muscle group) plays a significant role in lifting your leg.. If I lie on my back I can only leg a few inches off the ground.
Now my question is have any of you older guys had this and how long does it normally take to repair... I obviously am unable to play and when I get into a car I have to lift my left knee up to get in inside. Otherwise, it does not hurt when I am no putting a load on it.
What a bummer. I can play with a sore shoulder (torn tendon) I can play with a torn distal bicep tendon, I can play with a sore heel but not with this.
