Haas Wins!!!

I'm a big Haas fan and seeing him get his first win of the year at Indian Wells with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win over Thomas Enqvist is exciting. After seeing Henman struggle to regain his game after his own shoulder injury and then see him quickly rise back towards his old form leaves me hoping this is the beginning of Haas's return to his old self. I think he has similar talent to that of Safin and Federer in that they have very complete games: he can serve, good off both wings, can volley. He had that great match with Safin at the AO and had Safin beat before the rain delay which allowed Safin to rest up. Hopefully, we'll see him climb back up to the top again.

I am also very glad to see Tommy get a win and I hope I get to see him play on Sunday when I get to IW. I had a chance to speak to him at San Jose and he knew he was taking a big risk when he chose to have surgery. He has a long road back to his old self, but a win like this one is a great step for him.

Next match for Haas would be like playing himself. I hope he could play at his potential this year after all those injuries of him and accident of his parents.
