Head Grip Weight

I want to get the Head YouTek Speed Pro but the SW is high. I was thinking of taking off the leather and swapping for the Head HydroSorb Tour grip .. Would that help make it more maneuverable?

Anybody know the weight of Head Leather Grip and Head HydroSorb Tour?

The leather grip is .6 oz and your overall best racquet to go with is the Head Youtek Speed MP 16x19 or 18x20 depending if you want good control or more topspin access.

I weighed a couple of these in the last couple weeks.

The stock Head leather grip that comes on their "pro" model racquets (Radical Pro/Prestige Pro/etc.) will weigh approximately 23 grams. That is stretched and trimmed to fit a racquet.

The Hydrosorb Tour weighs in around 16 grams stretched and trimmed to fit the racquet.

Swapping out the grip will lower the overall weight but will probably not change the swingweight at all.
