I need help guys, I really want to replace the Head hydrosorb tour grip on my MGP MP because too soft and I need something more firm like leather but that does not change the balance too much.
I have been reading regarding leather grip and synthetic grip( actually maybe too much reading) but now I don't know which one to pick, plus I don't have $$$ to waste.
The hydrosorb tour weight is about 16g trimmed

I'm open for leather or synthetic grip but firm and not much heavier than 16g trimmed.

thanks

Leather is going to add weight and make the racquet more head light- you will feel the difference in balance.
Gamma HiTec is probably the most firm sunthetic grip and feels as close to leather as a synthetic will get- should be the same thickness as Hydrosorb but will feel a bit more firm
I use Hydrosorb now but have used HiTec in the past & would have no problem going back to it- it is a very good grip
