Yes but don't hold your breath on the release date. It won't be before the US Open that it is released and it may not be until the AO 2008.

I heard from a HEAD rep that they are looking at January 1 2008 release date. At this point I think we would be lucky if they came out at that time.

My understanding was that it is due out around US Open time... We'll see though...

I think Head was hoping for that initially but it more than likely won't happen. I'm sponsered by Head and I've already inquired about it and they told me not to hold breath for a 2007 release (unless they can get it out by the USO).

Sounds like they want to get rid of flexpoint prestige from their inventory before releasing microgel prestige.

There should be, because Flexpoint, IMO, was terrible! Not that I'd ever buy a Prestige.

Yes and no. The racquet is definitely coming, but it won't be anytime soon. There will also be a 16 X 19 version of the mid available, although I'm not sure whether this will be in addition to the current 18 X 20 pattern or whether it will be replacing it altogether. I got to play with a prototype Microgel Prestige a few weeks ago (the 16 x 19 version), and while it was nice, it definitely felt a bit different than any other Prestige I've ever played with, which I'm sure is due to the different string pattern. If I see it/hit with it again in the next week, I'll try to get some pics of the prototype.

Well, no guarantees just yet, but there have been a lot of the 16 x 19 mid prototypes going around. It doesn't feel too solid, at least it didn't when I hit with it, but it's ok. Still, not sure if they're going to release it.What, a 16x19 Prestige midsize???

This isn't really new info, just confirmation of what's been said: the guy at my local racquet shop told me that his head rep said it wouldn't be released until 08. In a way, this is a good thing since theyr'e not phasing out their models as quickly, but in another way it's bad because I don't like the feel of the flexpoint technology. None of it matters to me because I've already got a good racquet.

spoke to head reps today at nottingham open, rackets well be out for march 08. hope that helps
