Head Youtek Prestige Pro - WoW (ish)

Well, I finally got my hands on this stick (last I hope to demo), and all I can say is what a solid racket. Control on groundies were amazing, although I could still get some decent pace on my serve, it was not as powerful as my Pure Drive GT (am a Pure Drive nut-having used them last nearly 10 years).

I actually could trabnsition to the Prestige Pro--but I am concerned that the weight would wear my arm down following a few 3 setters.

Of all the rackets I've demo-ed, this is probably the one that could/would lure me away from the Pure Drive (but inn the end it probably won't)

Serves: PD > PP
Forehand: PP > PD
1 BH: PD>PP
Volleys: PD>PP
Slice: PP>PD
OVerhead smashes: PD>PP
Touch/Feel: PP>PD

The prestige is probably too much racket for me, as I am a 3.5 to very best 4.0 player who largely relies on a fairly pacey flat serve, and very effective kicker 2nd serve to win against "proper players" or rather hang with them.

Sometimes wish I could break out of the Bab suit, but I just can't seem too

I've got my hands on one for the first time this week too. Yeah, solid stick BUT...the flatter grip shape just feels weird. I got the L2 (1/4) but it still feels M-A-S-S-I-V-E, like a 5/8. I'm now considering a L1 (1/8 )...

many people on tt have commented that YTPP does everything well but nothing too great. probably, this is the beauty of the racquet - while it has no exceptional strengths it doesn't have any weaknesses either - it's just purely solid and reliable in every aspect

I switched to the PP from the Pure Drive recently after demoing it for a month. I feel that it helps me hit out on my shots more so than the pure drive, but I do miss serves with the PD!
