Heavier frame generates more power?

depends on how strong the player is... if you can swing the heavier racquet at the same speed as you would a lighter one... you will probably have more power with the heavier one.

but it is a lot more complicated than just weight.. .you have

1. Weight
2. Swing Speed
3. Racquet Stiffness/Flex
4. Beam Thickness
5. String tension

etc....

Heavier means more power...

A heavier frame will result in more power IF everything else remains the same. Everything else being swing speed and all other racquet specs. So yes, if you can swing the racquet at the same swing speed as a lighter frame, you will get more power and pace from the heavier racquet. That is why pros can generate so much pace because they use heavy racquets without hindering their swing speed. When people say a heavy racquet means that you have to generate the power yourself, they are mistaken. But it does feel like you have to generate all the power because you get tired faster by you are using a heavier frame than you are used to. General rule: Use the heaviest racquet you can handle without getting too tired due to the weight.

Reality....
Assuming you maintain your technique, swing speed/acceleration through the ball hitting it cleanly. Typically players with good preparation and long fluid strokes (usually early / high takeback, letting gravity start he acceleration of the racket) do well without tiring out.
