Help me choose a racquet for my game!

So, I'm a 14 year old left handed player, but my real weapon is my two handed backhand. My forehand is comparatively weak than my backhand, and my serves are ok. I'm primarily a baseline player, and I'm actually skinnier and weaker than most of my peers so I'm currently looking for a racquet that has quite a bit of comfort, and something that is either light or has a light swing weight, and is headlight (like I said, I'm weak). I'm looking for something that I can play longer with in a real game without my arm getting tired. Headsize between 95-100 please. Thanks

I'm currently using a Prince EXO3 Ignite Team 95

maybe Wilson BLX Six.One Team ?

it swings WAY lighter than the ignite team. Its about 9 grames lighter but im sure you can lead it up if you want. Even if you do so, it will still swing lighter than what you got now.

cant really say for sure but based on the specs, the ignite is for fast swings and the six one is medium-fast. Due to a significant difference between the swing weight and being more HL, naturally you will get more racquet head speed from the six one. If you try swing it like you do with the ignite then you might catch it too early infront and overcook it.

dude......you're left handed? with a two-handed backhand? you definitely need to get a Bab AeroPro Drive. If it works for Rafa, it will definitely work for you too. So, now you can stop asking questions, and go get this racket. It also fits in the headsize range you want.....win-win!!!!!

it is only 1 pt HL and a pretty nice SW. maybe you should add lead to the handle. adding 10grams to the butt and 5 grams to the 12.. that racket be beastin'

A couple considerations. If you want a racquet that's "more comfortable", you're going to loose a bit of pop if you're looking for a softer, more flexible option than your Prince. Your frame is already somewhat light, so you're bound to lose power if you go for something lighter or softer.

Also want to point out what might be the real issue for you. If you're getting a tired arm from playing with your current frame, you may want to invest in some instruction instead of a different racquet. Yours is rather light and lively, but from the sounds of things, it's wearing you out anyway.

At your age, you probably shouldn't be shopping for a lighter alternative. Instead, I'll bet that you'd benefit from a little guidance to encourage the bigger muscles in your legs and core to chip in and energize your shots. After a couple hours of hitting, your legs should be getting tired before your arm.

No crime in looking at racquets, too, but I don't know what to suggest given what seems to be ailing you. That Babolat may be a good place to start. If you can afford it and want to look around, I've had a GREAT time with TW's demo program. They sort of give you the keys to the candy store and only charge for shipping. Whatever you try for gear, I strongly suggest you pay attention to the static weight, balance, and flex of everything you sample - you may even want to write it down for reference. We can only tell when we've got that good fit in a racquet when we find it on the courts.

The BLX blade 98 swing way heavier than the K blade 98, I would look at a K blade 98 if I were you, I'm 17 and really skinny and I just demo'd it and dang, it's extremely whippy especially compared to the blx blade 98. plus the K factor is about 60 bucks cheaper now so i say it's worth a demo.

I have the same situation as you. I'm right handed, and 15 years old. I'm only 5' 2" and I'm pretty weak. FOR MY GAME STYLE: The APDGT is just perfect for me. Helps generate lots of spin and is about 4 points HL strung. Only weighs 11.3 oz. If you are looking for something even lighter, go with PDGT Lite. In my opinion, I've had some good play time with Babolat frames compared to others.

You don't need a new racket - lighter racket will make you lose some power. String a bit lighter, stop arming the ball and use your body better to make power that way you won't get as tired.

Also, the better you serve and generally play more aggressively the less runing you'll do. ;)
