HELP OUT (How to reduced from 4 1/2 to 4 1/4) SHAVE?????????

Hello

I have a Donnay Pro ONe (Orange and Gray) Agassi uses back in early 90's.
I have this racket in 4 1/2 but I want to reduce into 4 1/4. What are some suggestions? What do I need to do?

I think the Tennis Spot does it. Unless you have incredible technical acumen, don't put a blade near your grip.

Is the base of your grip made of steel or wood?

you can try just removing the grip on the handle and replacing it w/ just an overgrip to see if that's small enough for you. if you really want to shave it down, i'd send it out to get it done. it's pretty tough to do it yourself.

I've SANDED down a grip with sandpaper before, about a half size down from 4-3/8. It is a bit time-consuming but much safer than cutting. The biggest trick is to maintain a consistent width-to-height ratio.

Don't shave. Use files. Reducing the grip size is not so tough job with a careful use of files.
