I took apart my alpha Revo 4000 to try to fix the issue that the machine wasn’t properly gripping string and it would slip out when trying to pull tension. Anyway I think I cleaned it enough and now I’m having trouble putting it back together. I’m pretty bad with this sort of thing and should’ve taken pictures before I took it apart. Anyone have the same machine or a similar one that could take a picture of theirs? My problem is on the opposite side of the crank.

Looks pretty bad. Is it a crank machine? I wish someone who knows can respond to you. I'm sorry but I don't have courage to take my tensioner apart.

Yeah it’s crank. Courage or stupidity I don’t know which it is. Any chance you could try to look where the ring thing goes on yours? (If it’s the same) I figured out the other pieces

You can send it to Tennis Machines and they can assemble, calibrate it and make sure it is functioning properly.

I have to agree with going the Tennis Machines route. We took apart an Ektelon tensioner once just to see how it worked, and while we were able to get it back together where it would work, we could never get it to calibrate correctly again. Luckily, we had several spare tensioners around so this wasn't a big deal, but for my own personal machine, having it rebuilt, serviced & calibrated professionally would be well worth it.

Haven’t paid attention to this thread, thanks for the help, after having a friend look at it we got it back together but the stringer still has problems gripping the string and I think that’s not even the only issue. I think I’ll look into sending it to tennis machines if it doesn’t cost me a fortune

Why not send it to Apha? Revo 4000 is a current stringer
