Bought a pair of these at the NB store in SF last year. By far the most comfortable shoes out of the box I've ever tried on. Felt like bedroom slippers. However, the first day I played in them, I got black toe from my foot sliding forward within the shoe and jamming my big toe. I've never developed this with any other shoe in my life. Returned them the next day.
Normally I would have wondered if I'd bought a 1/2 size too big, but the salesmen spent a lot of time fitting me, and they didn't seem too long (or too wide).
Now part of me wishes I'd kept them just for weekend walks, but they're a bit expensive for that.
