how does the RQiS Tour 2 hold up

since we can't demo it here...a girl i've been hanging out with lately plays tennis for her school and she's a natural, for a beginner shes got excellent strokes and volleys especially since she taught herself, though the serve needs work as well as footwork. she's looking for a new racquet that's longbody, has quite a bit of power not too stiff nothing over 70, not under 100 headsize and has a pretty light weight.

i think this racquet fits the bill for her. this is going to be quite an adjustment for her since she's been using the head ti s6 for quite a while.

any other suggestions? i thought she should also try the ozone 7

Ok this is a late review. but i like to make it short. I hit with it for good 4-5 hours with this frame and it is a wonderful racket. I was afraid it maybe too powerful for me but that was not the case. I can put double the amount of topspin with this racket so i can keep all the balls in play. It is very manuverable racket. i say swingweight of about 320 would be accurate. I will use this for doubles only since i can hit my serves about 5 mph faster with this racket than tour-1.

LOL. If you're going to categorize those shots you might as well add:

1) Ability to Mishit off the Frame but Still Land In
2) How Fast You Can Protect the Family Jewels on a Line Drive Towards the Sack
3) TW (Throw Weight) or How Easy it is to Throw the Racquet
4) BP (Breaking Point) or How Much Pressure is Required to Break the Frame

I like the frame, it's a nice tweener. I've been trying to find a racket for about a year to replace my Volkl BB10 and this may be it. It has a bit more pop than my BB10, probably due to the thicker beam. It's not too stiff and it has nice feel. The only bad part is the paintjob, I'm going from a bad red/white paintjob to a....bad red/white paintjob. I also demoed the Ozone 7 and I don't think it was nearly as nice.

I felt like i could control the power since i was getting so more topspin with this racket. i can reach Nadal like topspin shots if i string this with poly. i was getting huge topspin with Yonex demo string. and even slice, my slice serve was bending at least 4-5 feet more.

I like your idea on 1 and 2 but don't know about 3 and 4 since, i never break rackets in anger. I just hit my head really hard with the racket when i get mad.

With the frame or the strings? I use the strings but only because I don't want to hurt the frame with my moonhead.

It is very a very different frame from the 002.

It's more flexible, more forgiving and more stable. It is actually one of the best rackets I have tried on the last couple of years. If you are looking for a tweener style racket, not to painfull on the arm and with enough stability to handle heavy hitting you should give it a go.

If you want a heftier frame you should give RQiS 1 a try. Also a tremendous frame.

PS: My current frame is a RDX 500 HD MP, but I am not getting younger so I might change for the RQiS 2. If I was still in shape I would trade for the 1.
