How incredible would it be if.....

Both Venus and Nadal go on to win the title after crashing out in the 1st round last year? It'd be interesting to know when was the last time that happened in the men's and women's. Sadly I don't think Venus will do it but what an amazing story it'd be for her and tennis in general if she somehow went on to lift her first AO trophy at the grand old age of 36. :) And you'd have to say Nadal would also be a worthy winner after being pretty much written off by many people over the last year or so - it would certainly be a remarkable show of resilience on his part and a credit to both him and his team.

All I know is if they do both win the title, I sooooo wanna be at MichaelNadal's party this weekend. :p

As a djokovjc fan do u think there is a serenity about both federer and nadal that hasnt been seen since 2015? Both look very relaxed. I wonder if djokovic being out liberated them.

idk about nadal but djokovic lost early at wimbledon and fed failed to capitalize on that, he lost at at USO, and fed went out to cilic so i really don't think fed is relaxed solely because of djokovic. the man didn't even think he would get to the 4th round and didn't know stan was in his half, because he wasn't looking that far ahead. I still think fed must have some nerves in general, this is first real tournament since wimbledon
