Hybrids vs Full Bed: Shaped Poly Strings (& also string weight)

Ok so I’ve got a lot on my mind: I’ve been playing shaped poly strings for the past 4 years, almost always w/ a full bed of whatever string I choose. Lately been switching btwn Volkl Cyclone & MSV Focus Hex Soft (both 1.20) in my Diadem FS Elevate. I prefer almost everything (feel, comfort, durability, tension maintenance & surprisingly spin) over Cyclone 1.20, but what I don’t like is how much heavier it is in my racket compared to Cyclone even @ same gauge. Added an extra 1.5g & ~4SW to it. It’s still manageable to swing, but I notice the xtra clunkiness on my 1HBH & “flick-of-wrist” shots.

I know there’s older threads talking about the weight of different poly strings so I knew MSV polys were heavy for their gauge, but this all has opened my mind to a few things:

A. I kinda want to try a hybrid; thinking I wanna stick w/ FHS 1.20 in the mains, but go for a thinner round poly in the crosses; maybe sth like Volkl V-Pro 1.18 or MSV Co-Focus 1.18. Ik shaped mains snap back easier w/ round crosses, but how else does this affect the playability? Don’t wanna lose any bite on slices or shots w/ underspin or sidespin.

B. Has anyone measured the weight of a pack of any of these strings (Focus Hex Soft 1.20, V-Pro 1.18, Co-Focus 1.18 or any thin, moderately firm-crisp polys that are noteworthy)?
