Funny that not serving much has actually helped me undue some bad bad habits like with the racket drop.
Last night , I felt the racket dropping more than usual and was hitting some hard serves.
Later in the match I was thinking about it and my serve went back to normal and sucked

Oh well, I at least proved a can serve a few good games.

My opponent said after that he has never seen me serve that well before ??
I crushed him and I did not play for 2 weeks but my opponent did not play for 2 months lol. So does not matter then

I also dumped the kick serve and now just do a slice second serve or a basic top spin second serve. The kick serve was a total disaster for me and I would either pop it up or hit it long.

My opp. through has a solid kick serve

In my experience, players who are specifically worried about racquet drop (more so than any other feature of the serve) struggle the most with their serve. I think this is because consciously trying to get racquet drop will mess up your serve more than anything else. Focus on other parts of your serve and let thebracquet drop unconsciously.
