look , thiem had so badly perpom fifth set
first , i watched thiem lose first set , that final would gone djokovic 's three set win
my thought 's wrong
thiem pushed djokovic more and more
he wins second and third set
but he lose fourth set
that 's fine
but fifth set was huge problem
thiem gave break so easliy and
wasted two break chance
and return so badly

i really dispointed

his reutrn is not that good

2020 AO FINAL was thiem 's biggest chance to get his maiden slam
but he lost

That's Thiem's fault. First, he lost RG 19 to Nadal because he ate too little banana. Then he lost AO20 to Djokovic because he didn't eat dates.

Eat like a champion if you want to be a champion.

4th set was much worse. He absolutely gifted the break and had better chances to break. Djokovic level was just better than Thiem's in the 5th. Thiem didn't play poorly imo he's just not as good as Djokovic. Thiem's best level wins the match for sure but so does Novak's obviously so I think that's kinda a useless claim.

Thiem will have more chances to win a slam for sure IMO. He has improved a lot under Massu's wing, even I have to give him credit for how far he has come. He will win slams, his time is coming.

He better hurry up. You don't always have tomorrow. I have a bad feeling he's going to get hurt before nabbing his first slam and never totally recover.

Not much you can do when Djokovic is painting the lines like he was in that set.
To me, djok looked the better player almost throughout the match apart from the passive patch he had from late 2nd set to early 4th set.
Thiem had almost no clue on returns.
Djokovic was dominating almost every type of cross court exchanges.
Thiem was almost everytime out of position.
Though Thiem had his chances, he should have capitalised on the passive patch of nole.

I think Toni Nadal was right though in saying that he lost the match in the 4th set. Or put another way, it was his best chance of closing out the match.
