If two majors were on clay or grass

Just think how many majors nadal and Federer, sampras would have won if two majors were on their best surface. If u think about it, laver had three on his best surface (grass) and djokovic has had two (hard albeit very different hard) .

It's a shame sampras never won the French open and in his day it was a lot harder to do as there were lots of great clay courters who specialised on it rather than just one God on clay and two greats (Federer and djokovic)

I suspect the three of them could have pushed 30 majors had they had the luxury of two majors on their favoured surface.

Shame they can't fit two more majors in the calendar one on clay one on grass.

That would be great indeed. AO and US have both been on grass and clay, albeit different grass and clay to that of RG and WIM

No he means if out of the 4 there were 2 on JUST grass or 2 on JUST clay instead of 2 on hard.
