Increase grip size with overgrip on handle?

I just thought about this but I'm not exactly sure how it would play out in practice. I need to build up a grip (PK 3/8 ) to 4 1/2 size. I was wondering what would happen if I added some lead underneath (to bevels 1, 3, 5, 7. 10g total) then wrapped an overgrip flat over that, then put on the replacement grip, then put an additional overgrip on top of that.

Would that maintain bevel feel or do you guys think that it would get lost?

I'm open to other suggestions if y'all have any.

well, in tennis "workshops" they have such a plastic sleeve, they put it on handle and heat it, it shrinks and makes your grip bigger by 1 size... it cost like 10 usd here

I looked at the heat shrink sleeve but the paypal acct. was quite sufficient to order that plus everything else I needed this time around.

I suspect that you will over shoot the 4 1/2 if you do what you planned. Lead, grip, followed over grip should get you there from 3/8.

Two overgrips over the original grip will get you to a 4 1/2. However, depending on the brand of racket you have the bevels may be gone and lose that feel. The lead may work, but idk how close to 4 1/2 you will be

See, the PK grip is pretty round so I am worried about losing bevel feel. I'll wait for some more input but I think that just adding the lead and then the replacement grip and the OG should get me pretty close to where I want to be.
